Ceramic Laboratory and Cultural Association in Livorno
The Rodocò Cultural Association came to life in 2020, with the intention of carrying forward the artistic journey that Donatella Nannipieri has cultivated for more than twenty years, as her workshop moved from Cascina to Livorno.
The studio was first founded by her father, Dino, from whom Donatella learned the traditional technique of ceramics, skills she later intertwined with more contemporary, experimental techniques.
With the relocation of the workshop, three close friends joined Donatella. United by the delight of shaping clay, the pleasure of decorating each piece, and the shared curiosity to explore new methods and materials, they formed the Artistic Association.
The Association aims to welcome all those who feel the wish to spend a few hours in lightness and tranquillity, within a warm and inviting space where the value of working with one’s hands can be rediscovered.
Ever thought of exploring clay with your own hands? You can join our CERAMICS WORKSHOPS, arranged to suit your schedule and open to everyone—even those who have never touched clay before. All materials and tools are provided, and you’re free to bring your own creations to life with our guidance and in the friendly company of Rodocò members.
